Why are people so HEARTLESS these days??? Yesterday i was reading the london paper and i read a very sad article about a woman whose boyfriend got beaten up at the train station by two little youths and they stole some of his possesions and left him bleeding. Instead of passer -buys to offer him some help as he is clearly injured and suffering they just walked past like they didnt notice the poor man bleeding on the train station floor.
How would they feel if it was someone they knew whether their family or friends were in that state and no-one even cared or bothered enough to help them. Call 999 or alert some train staff, do something at least. This society has become so bad that people dont care about anyone but Themselves. Most people would rather leave someone dying in the street than help them.
IT is soo rare these days to find kind hearted, genuine people that will willingly help you, most just turn a blind eye and act like they are too good to help you because they are "posh looking, smartly dressed individuals" that cant been seen helping a "commoner".
Has anyone ever been in a situation that they needed help or seen someone that needed help.
What did you do? Was help offered to you or did you help someone, if you did or didnt would you like to say why?

well i guess it depends on the situation. countries are different, like you said in your country if you go to help someone who is pretending to be injured you could get attacked, which is a shame really. there is no way you can tell who is being genuine or who has other intentions.
what country are you from by the way, if you dont mind me asking??

In my country, bad people like to fake. Pretending they are injured so you would get out of the car to help them, but their true intentions are to rob you, rape you and kill you. Being kind hearted only makes you vulnerable these days...=(
